Dad, I miss you more as each day goes by, nothing is the same without you.

The words in this poem which I put on your memorial cards say it all.

A Father is a special gift one you think will stay.
You never think the time will come when he is called away.
But when the moment comes and you never said goodbye,
The pain just overwhelms you and all you do is cry.
You laughed with us in good times, cried with us when sad,
You always went without for us and gave us all you had.
you taught us many things in life,
That we would have to do,
But Dad you never taught us how to COPE with losing you.
